Google Inc (NASDAQ GOOG) News: Reported Q2 Earnings
The most important number in a Google Inc (NASDAQ GOOG) for a long time has been mobile revenue. Though the company is still the biggest earner in mobile ads, its lead over competitors like Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) is nowhere near the monopolistic position the company has held on desktop for the last number of years. With user eyes drifting from their desktop to their smartphone, investors and analysts are following Google for signs of weakness.
This afternoon’s earnings report certainly didn’t give those betting against Google Inc (NASDAQ GOOG) what they’re looking for, but the firm’s future on the small screen is far from secure. Google needs to continue to show momentum behind mobile campaigns, such as its enhanced campaign technology, in order to prove its ability to keep control of the market.

Google Inc Financial News (NASDAQ GOOG)
