Deckers (NASDAQ:DECK) declined in Thursday’s night trade after topping Q4 expectations but also issuing a weaker than expected view for Q1. DECK slumped to an early after-hours low of 68 before firming to still negative levels of 77.09 to 73.23 through the bulk of night trade.
A pre-bell open Friday may have legs surrounding the 74 mark. A potential near-term ceiling level formed Thursday night at 75 and above, a possible top for shorts to watch through the early-going on Friday.
MercadoLibre (NASDAQ:MELI) advanced in Thursday’s after-hours trade after topping Q4 expectations. MELI leaped to an early evening high of 109 before dropping back and holding plus-side levels between 97.93 and 103.94.
A pre-market open Friday may have potential in the 99 to 102 area. Buyers established a tentative near-term floor support Thursday night at 99 to 100, levels that could set up as a bottom support and perhaps see lift toward 101 to 102.
Air Lease (NYSE:AL) is higher in after hours trading after the company reported financial results for Q4 that topped analysts’ expectations. Shares are up 12.61% at $40, with a 52-week range of $25.13 – $35.90.
The aircraft leasing company reported Q4 earnings of $0.55 per share, compared with the prior-year period’s $0.38 per share. Revenue was $242.9 million, up 27.8% from $190.1 million in the same quarter last year. Analysts polled by Capital IQ were expecting EPS of 0.53 on revenues of $226.81 million.
